We were appointed by the management of British international school to rectify the leaking in the building at bandar utama, Damansara. I actually didn't realize there is a British International School at Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya nearby.

Once we were there to inspect on the first day, we felt like we are foreigner because all the children and teachers were foreigner (Orang Putih) and only we and the management team are the local fellows.

After the inspection at the leaking areas, we found out there are two leaking areas needed to rectify a.s.a.p because complaints by the teachers and children parents there. The two areas are the hallway and the children toilet

We had to cut the plaster ceiling at the toilet and look into the leaking areas and determine what actually cause the leaking ? Was it due to the piping or was it waterproofing problem? After analyze the condition, we determine the cause of the problem is due to honeycomb / installation piping in the concrete surrounding the pipe areas. There are 3 downpipes leaking in between the concrete and piping and thus its a waterproofing problem and can be rectify through our method.

We cut the plaster ceiling at the hallway too and look into the leaking areas as well. There are many leaking spot at the hallway area. One of them is conduit electric leaking and few more spots at the edge of the concrete wall nearby the conduit electricity pipe. The leaking through the concrete as you seen in the pictures are typical type of concrete leaking and its very straight forward except the conduit pipe electricity. Usually if leaking at conduit electricity is more tricky and needed to analyze into details before rectifying it.

We both agreed to carry out the rectification work during night time when nobody is in the building due to waterproofing chemical involved and we also won't want the children playing around probably interrupted our progress work. So we visit another night time and carry our work till dawn around 330am completed and was pretty exhausted. The toilet and hallway waterproofing leaking repair at British International School finally rectify at the end of the day.

They later ask us to rectify the gym room roof leaking but due to the structure building crack after we identify and determine the cause leaking gym roof at Damansara British International School. They ask the original buidling contractor to rectify it which is subject to their warranty sort of.
